sea-worn stones . . .
a tern’s buoyant flight
along the shoreline
foggy ginko
a line of bright mugs
waits for hot tea
*ginko=an intentional walk, usually with other poets, to inspire haiku
waking to doves . . .
a tarnished mirror
in the old inn’s bathroom
an osprey nest
in the channel marker . . .
luffing sails
distant crow calls the fluency of morning light
adding sugar
to my first cup of tea
morning glory sky
waxing gibbous
looking for butterfly eggs
on the milkweed
morning heat
the lavender patch hums
with fragrance
water lilies
a dragonfly includes me
in its flight pattern
unexpected sun
I toss another berry
to the gull
bay crossing —
an eagle lifts off
a half-tide ledge
