peach lily
I don’t remember planting
recompense
in the wake
of the clamor of crows
finch’s sweet song
Monday morning
under the porch light
a new moth
rumblings of thunder
my beach read ends
on a tragic note
morning alarm
the crows driving away
another hawk
in this heat
again the vireo
renewing his song
independence day
a girl signs her name
with a sparkler
fourth of july
the small explosions
of peonies
passing squall
pine needles spell out
the wind’s short story
fork in the path
am I talking to myself
or the catbird
pre-dawn lightning
a disturbing dream
starts to make sense
