scattered showers
a house finch explores
our porch
hatch of mayflies…
we eat the last batch
of fiddleheads
finding again
the spring constellations—
starflowers
deep blue sky
the vireo singing again
and again
i know art
when i hear it
thrush song
morning fog
my to-do list full
of question marks
driving
into a fog bank
who am i
morning chorus
my coffee
grows cold
the one bird’s song
I don’t recognize
afternoon clouds
afternoon heat
a goldfinch sings
in the flowering quince
white dawn…
trying to make sense
of a strange dream
