six feet away
a chickadee plucks insects
from the porch roof
spring flow
the deep green of the river
over the dam’s brim
new moon
in spite of everything
planting peas
pandemic
asking the caterpillar
what’s normal life
his hand on mine
to share how cold the river
spring fishing
Amidst the upheaval of a global pandemic, I’m allowing my moods to come as they will.
spring snow
me and a titmouse
both kind of whiny
social distancing
taking out the trash
i startle some ducks
social distancing
empty acorn caps
cling to the branch
priorities
the small fruiting bodies
of lichens
coronavirus
waiting to inherit
crows mill about
spring rain
the backyard flooding
with robins
