a spiderweb
right across the face
morning dew
morning fog
the ferry emerges
from another world
morning fog roses wash my face
seaside goldenrod
taking the long way
home
sea air
the raspberry
on my tongue
summer rain
following a trail
of fallen rose petals
border crossing
just a few stars visible
through shifting clouds
fog bank
the white blur
of multiflora roses
heat haze
a porpoise rolls through waves
without a splash
heat index . . .
a line of napping pheasants
blocks the trail
offshore breeze
a swallow sails over
the tallest mast
