Watching the PGA Masters on t.v. this afternoon, feeling envious of the true spring happening in Georgia while here in Maine patches of snow persist.
hot pink azaleas
and a wren loudly singing
television golf
river stone
a line of bright moss
marking high water
such insistence
in the cardinal’s song
spring thaw
even the crows
going on about it
spring snowfall
all I want right now
is to warm it in my hands
phoebe perched in snow
spring snow
across our front doorstep
tracks of a robin
spring yard work
raking off the moss
to see some green
goose in the lake
goose on thin ice
both seem content
first phoebe of spring
calling on the weather gods
for some flies
a taste of summer
eating watermelon
in April
spring rain
turning to snow then rain again
a deluge of robins
